Deborah Reid
Deborah Reid is a native of New Jersey. She is a seasoned litigator with over 25 years experience. Before joining the Florida bar, she practiced in California, New Jersey and New York. She has extensive experience in handling commercial disputes and maritime matters.
Deborah Reid has nationwide experience and has litigated cases in Florida, New York, New Jersey, and California. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northeastern University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego She is licensed to practice law in each of these states and their federal courts, including the Second, Third and Ninth Circuit Courts of Appeal. Deborah is an AV rated attorney with over 30 years experience in negotiating and successfully litigating maritime matters and complex commercial disputes. She has supervised overseas litigation and handled matters with the Federal Maritime Commission and U.S. Customs.
Her experience includes domestic as well as international disputes. She has developed wording for ocean bills of lading and international transportation contracts for numerous ocean carriers. Deborah’s experience is not limited to disputes in the courts, but also extends to arbitration.
